1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Slow Street Coffee’s services, including purchases, subscriptions, SMS ordering, and website use. By placing an order or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

2. Orders & Payment

Orders may be placed via SMS or through our website. All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. An order is not considered accepted until confirmed by Slow Street Coffee.

3. Subscriptions

Slow Street Coffee offers subscription options on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Customers may also purchase coffee at a non-subscription price, which may be higher. Subscriptions automatically renew unless paused or canceled prior to billing.

4. Billing Cutoff & Changes

To ensure accurate fulfillment, all subscription changes—including skips, pauses, cancellations, or delivery updates—must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled billing time. Orders are processed and billed automatically based on your selected subscription frequency. Once an order has been processed, it cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. Any changes made after the cutoff will apply to the next billing cycle. Billing may occur the day prior to delivery or fulfillment. Customers are responsible for managing their subscription prior to the cutoff window. Slow Street Coffee is not responsible for charges incurred due to missed cutoff times.

5. Delivery & Risk of Loss

We provide local delivery services. Once an order is delivered to the provided address, including a doorstep, mailbox, or designated drop-off location, the risk of loss transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for theft after delivery, weather-related damage, incorrect delivery details provided by the customer, or other loss or damage after delivery.

6. Delivery Timing

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or operational constraints. Such delays do not qualify for refunds.

7. Refunds & Replacements

All sales are final due to the perishable nature of coffee. We may offer replacements or credits at our discretion for defective or incorrect orders.

8. SMS Ordering & Communications

By placing orders via SMS or opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Slow Street Coffee, including order confirmations, delivery updates, subscription notifications, and promotional messages if you have opted in to receive them. Message & data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

You agree to contact Slow Street Coffee at zaid@slowstreetcoffee.com to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or dispute. If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, and you may be liable for any fees, costs, or damages incurred as a result of the dispute. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in refusal of future service.

10. Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, we may retry the payment method on file, pause or cancel your subscription, and decline fulfillment until payment is successfully processed. We are not responsible for missed deliveries due to failed payments.

11. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact, payment, and delivery information and for monitoring your subscription and communications. We are not responsible for missed messages, including SMS or email notifications.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slow Street Coffee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or services.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, labor issues, transportation disruptions, internet or platform outages, or other similar events.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and materials associated with Slow Street Coffee are the property of Slow Street Coffee and may not be used without prior written permission.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
